Abby Domingo is looking forward to another incredible school year! She loves to inspire and encourage students to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom! She values integrity, growth, and creating connections. 

 

Mrs. Domingo began working for the Del Mar Union School District in 2003. She taught for 11 years in DMUSD and in the Boston Public Schools in Massachusetts. After being an Assistant Principal in our district, she was the Principal at Ashley Falls School for 5 years. She joined theTorrey Hills students, staff and community during the 2020-2021 school year and is thrilled to be your principal. 

 

Abby grew up in Massachusetts and received her Teaching Credential from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, along with her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and Sociology. Mrs. Domingo completed her Masters in Educational Leadership and earned her Administration Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. She also holds a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Crosscultural, Language & Academic Development (CLAD) certificate.

 

In addition to being a Principal and Teacher, Abby also spent a few years providing professional development and coaching for teachers, school staffs, and parents all over the country through the Quantum Learning Network.

 

Mrs. Domingo is amazed by her students, colleagues and families. She feels grateful to partner with such incredible people to help every child at Torrey Hills ignite their personal genius!
